About

The wealth gap between Black and Latinx households and their White counterparts is vast and growing. This will lead to further inequality and slow economic growth as the United States becomes more racially diverse.

The median Black family has just $1,700 in wealth. Latinx families have $2,000. Meanwhile, the median White family’s wealth is significantly higher: $116,800.

It is morally and economically imperative that we change this.

Entrepreneurship is a viable path to economic security. However money, network, and resources are requirements for starting a business, and are lacking in the Black and Latinx community.

Black & Brown Founders provides community, education and access to Black and Latinx entrepreneurs, allowing them to build successful tech businesses with modest resources.
