Black & Brown Founders Project

San francisco  |  March 2oth & 21st, 2017

We held our inaugural event at Galvanize in San Francisco, a gathering of current and aspiring Black and Latinx founders who were ready to learn and connect with others.

About the Workshop

During this two-day workshop, we covered topics like how to generate leads and close contracts, how to effectively manage your cash flow, alternative forms of financing, building apps without writing code, building a team with limited budget, design on a shoestring, and more.

We also held office hours to workshop aspects of your business and plans one-on-one with speakers and experienced mentors.

Our speakers are also Black and Latinx founders with experiences to share alongside rich content. Many speakers led sessions as well as one-on-one office hours with other mentors during the event.
